Occurrence Form of Potassium Vapor in Sinter and Its Effect on Reduction Degradation Indexes

In this study, potassium vapor was prepared by using carbonate (K2CO3) and activated carbon (C) reagents to simulate the actual situation of adsorbing from sinter in blast furnace. The potassium-rich characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDS). effects content on enrichment ratio, adsorption rate, low-temperature reduction degradation index (RDI+3.15mm) have been studied. results show that with increase content, ratio increases, rate increases first then decreases, which opposite trend reductive sinter. When increased 50 times, powder are highest, were 2576% 85.3%, respectively, lowest, is 51.5%. Meanwhile, changes physical K2CO3 chemical KFeO2 as increases. addition, transformation occurrence form during rising process has also clarified.
